Only for love
Only for love did I allow myself to be wounded
Only for love does my heart bleed,
Only for You, Jesus, is pain sweet,
Only in the cross with You, is my soul delighted.Hard is my pain knowing that You were offended;
Only for love shall I always say: martyrdom is marvellous.
HereYou have, my sweet Jesus, my breast for shelter.My heart was ungrateful to my God and Lord;
So did I pay Him for His infinite love.
Now I only want to love Him and sooth His pain.There is no need to say how much I love You, Jesus.
You see my heart and know how much it loves the cross.
Why is it suffering? It is only for You, my Jesus.
Speak, speak, my heart
Speak, speak, my heart,
Say at least in these lines how much you desire to love your Jesus!Speak, speak, my heart,
Tell your Jesus you only want Him, and only in Him do you want to rest!
Do not get tired, do not stop speaking about love!Love which is real love, true and pure love,
Cannot keep silent, cannot stop expressing itself.It must speak and prove, it does always love:
It loves day and night, it loves in pain and in joy, it loves in exaltation
And, if it is a truly pure love, it loves still more when it is mortified.O love, how great and strong you are!
O Father, Son and Holy Spirit
O Father, Son and Holy Spirit,
O my three Beloved ones in one single love!
By mercy, may our union be so close, so close that it cannot be separated.O my three Beloved ones, I wish I had in the same love:
All the Angels’ adoration, to adore You,
All the Cherubs’ love, to love You,
All the praise of the Earth and of the Heaven to praise You,
And later on, to kneel before my heart,
As long as I live, to sing the glories of the three
Guests who live inside my poor and cold beast.Everything praises the Creator, and I don’t?
When will my day arrive?
When will my day arrive, the day of my nuptials?
Oh, happy day, when I come to see my God for ever,
and enjoy Him perpetually, face to face!
PRAYER
Merciful God,
you have adorned your Church with the example of Blessed Alexandrina Maria,
who was so intimately united to the passion of your Son,
so that in every part of the world
the worship of the Eucharist and devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary
might be enkindled.Through her intercession
grant that we may become dwelling places of the Holy Spirit
and authentic witnesses of your love.We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you
in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
God, forever and ever. Amen.Living and reigning with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
For ever and ever. Amen
